Our Story

Youth football team with coach and parent on a field

Team Continue was founded by the family of Peter Price, who died by suicide in 2016. What began as a tribute to Peter’s life has grown into a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families affected by suicide attempts and ideation. Peter had a deep compassion for others, and that legacy lives on through our mission.

Since becoming a 501(c)(3) in 2021, Team Continue has raised over $175,000 to fund more than 750 therapy sessions for teens and young adults in crisis. We focus on the critical time between hospital discharge and effective outpatient care—providing support when families need it most.

Thanks to our all-volunteer team and generous donors, we provided nearly one therapy session every day in 2024—and we’re just getting started.

    Therapy Grants

We provide access to therapy for teens and young adults who lack the financial means or support to receive critical mental health care. Many of our grant recipients face extraordinary challenges, including past trauma, suicidal ideation, and severe mental health conditions, often without insurance or a support system.

    Advocacy and resources

We actively work to address the barriers preventing individuals from accessing the care they need. From connecting recipients with transportation and housing solutions to addressing food insecurity and financial gaps, we help those navigating life with the odds stacked against them. Your support enables us to advocate for mental health equity and provide essential resources to those who need them most.
